We're Denise and Stephen Milward, the writers behind Planet Milward—a place where we connect dots between creative work and everyday life. Our paths have woven through roles in technology, music projects and education. Along the way we’ve learned to value clear thinking, patience and collaboration.

Across roles in music education, composition, performance and technology, crafts, languages and travel, we’ve gathered tools, mistakes and methods that we can share to help others do meaningful, enjoyable and progressive work.

Milestones

  • Taught in schools and performed in a wide variety of venues and community spaces.

  • Have political science and science degrees.  Qualified teachers.

  • Travelled and lived in Europe and South Asia.

Planet Milward is a space for rigorous thinking and honesty, not assumptions and lies. We write about culture, medical , science and technology issues, political perspective, sport and the patterns of everyday life.  There is no room for, or toleration of, sexism, misogyny, racism or fascism at Planet Milward.

Our daughter is Jenni Milward, whose website can be reached here or by the Menu above.

If we share interests or if you’re exploring a new idea, welcome. We hope you find something useful here.  Please note: we do not have social media accounts (this is why).
